If you’re planning to explore Lanzarote at your own pace, renting an electric bike is one of the smartest ways to do it. Our base in Haria offers a range of e-bikes that are perfect for all kinds of riders—from casual travellers who just want to cruise along coastal roads to more adventurous cyclists looking to tackle the island’s volcanic climbs.
We maintain a fleet of modern e-bikes, including comfortable trekking models with pannier racks for day trips and sturdy mountain bikes with suspension for off-road excursions. All our rentals include a helmet, a secure lock and a map of recommended routes. Prices start at 35 euros per day, with discounts for multi-day or week-long rentals. Each bike is fully charged and serviced before you set off, and our team will show you how to adjust the saddle, operate the motor assist modes and get the most out of the battery.
Booking your e-bike is easy. You can reserve online through our website, send us a message via WhatsApp or simply call our shop. We require a small deposit to secure your bike and a copy of your ID on pickup. The minimum age for renting an e-bike is 14, and anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. We can provide child seats or trailers on request—just let us know in advance.
When you collect your bike, we’ll give you a quick orientation and suggest a few routes based on your interests and ability. For a gentle ride, try the circular route from Haria to the coastal village of Arrieta, where you can stop for lunch at a seaside restaurant before heading back through the valley of Temisa. If you’re feeling more energetic, consider a ride up to the Mirador del Rio for spectacular views of La Graciosa, or a longer trip down to the wine region of La Geria. For those wanting a full-day adventure, the loop around the north of the island takes you through the villages of Maguez and Orzola, past cactus gardens and lava fields.
E-bikes make cycling in Lanzarote accessible to almost everyone. The electric assistance flattens hills and counteracts headwinds, allowing you to cover more distance without exhausting yourself. Our batteries typically last between 60 and 100 kilometres on a single charge, depending on terrain and power setting, and you can always return to the shop to swap for a fresh battery if you’re out for a long day. We recommend wearing comfortable footwear, bringing sunscreen and carrying a reusable water bottle. Most routes have places to stop for refreshments, but it’s always good to have a snack on hand.
If you have any questions about our bikes, need advice on custom itineraries or want to organise a group rental, feel free to get in touch. We love helping visitors discover the beauty of Lanzarote on two wheels, and we’ll do everything we can to make your ride safe, enjoyable and memorable.
